Well, it was another hockey weekend. On Sunday, we traveled to Big Stone for Joel's Mite Team. I wanted to get a few pics for those of you who aren't really familiar to what it means to be a hockey family. (for our Arizona family) So to set the scene..We left town around noon on Sunday, just as a Blizzard Warning was issued for our area and also where we were headed. As you can see the Ice Arena is OUTDOORS! So I took a picture of Jeremy stirring up the fire in the "WARMING ROOM" as you can see the bleachers next to him. It was cold, but it was FUN! Joel and his team played great and had lots
of fun. Joel had 6 goals and a few assists and he even blocked a shot when he was playing goalie! I also was so excited, because I was able to catch a picture of Joel while he hit a slap shot, you can see him (red #30)falling down while the puck is in the air and he did score!!! Congrats to Joel and the rest of the Brookings Rangers Mite Team!
